Malin Albert specialises in life sciences, contractual-, competition- and procurement law and is regularly working on compliance issues, including data privacy issues and corporate investigations.
Malin’s work within life sciences consists to a large extent of regulatory advice, including compliance issues in relation to industry-specific ethical rules, and commercial matters within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors and within health and medical care. Malin also has special experience of providing advice in conjunction with stock market listings of life sciences companies. In the past years, Malin has gained a valuable insight in the technology side of life sciences, including data privacy issues. This experience has resulted in a broader role of advising companies in all sectors operating digitally.
As to EU and competition law, Malin has many years of experience of issues relating to merger filings, vertical restraints, abuse of dominant position, cartels and state aid.
Malin’s work with corporate investigations and compliance issues consists of advising in relation to preventive measures (setting up compliance programs including whistleblowing systems, policy-drafting and compliance training), investigating potential misconduct and giving advice of corrective actions.
